Many OEM project managers deliberate the buy roll, cut, and
retain, vs. just purchase a framed product, issue. Know that
Permatron welcomes the opportunity to support all the options of
your business decision. Please consider:
- Service: Although your application may not be intended to be replaced, there may be negligible demand after production ends. Is your company willing to carry a roll of media then manually shear pieces vs. having a P/N to order small quantities. Or, better yet financially, design in standard OEM sizes?
- Costs: Our costs to frame a media for your company, in galvanized /stainless steels or aluminum, does not proportionally accelerate the costs as may be assumed. As our quote will reveal, our manufacturing processes HAVE TO BE versatile, and most of the time but always at your EAU, will prove to be a low cost and highly valued item.
- Inventory: Simple. Is your company willing to carry Non-WIP inventory rolls and have to cut pieces knowing that you wuld receive your special parts in 5 business days, maximum, with next day service possible to your facility or drop ship to an end user?
