DustPlus Particulate and Odor/Fume Air Filter
Particulate plus odor/fume removal is offer with our DustPlus® 1" Model DP1. The DustPlus air filter contains a woven synthetic front panel, which carries a permanent electrostatic charge to attract and hold airborne particulates. The interchangeable back panel (afterfilter) consists of Activated Carbon, which adsorbs noxious odors/fumes. Together, these two panes create our exclusive ACCUMULATOR CHAMBER® and produce a unique three-stage filtration process. The heavy waffle weave of the electrostatic fabric, and the ACCUMULATOR CHAMBER construction, ensure high dust holding capacity and particulate arrestance efficiency. At the same time, these features eliminate the potential for dirt face loading on the front panel, a condition that would ultimately restrict airflow through the HVAC system. This effective filtering combination gives DustPlus its dual action air cleaning ability… particulate removal plus odor removal.
The disposable activated carbon afterfilters are available in 4-packs. Depending on odor and fume levels, these panels should be changed every 3-4 months in the average household.
