Pleated Activated Carbon Filters for Odor, Fume, Gas Removal

Activated Carbon Pleated Filters

Activated Carbon is widely recognized as effective methods of removing and preventing odor/fume buildup in recirculated air.  Permatron offers two types of disposable, extended surface pleated filters with 60% activity granular activated carbon for odor/fume removal, and activated carbon with alumina and 5% potassium permanganate for odor/fume/gas removal.  Light gases include Ammonia, Formaldehyde, Hydrogen sulfide and Sulfur Dioxide.

The filters high performance 100% synthetic air filtration media is pleated to allow total media usage, maximum air flow and high dust holding capacity.  The media is bonded to expanded metal support grids to prevent sagging, air bypass and media flutter. Encased in moisture resistant carrier board frame with diagonal & horizontal support members.  Both Model CHARPL and Model CHARBXPL are available in 1" (13 pleats per lineal foot), 2" (10 pleats per lineal foot) and 4" (9 pleats per lineal foot) thickness.  1" pleated type filters have approximately 3X the effective media surface of a ΒΌ" panel filter.
