Activated Carbon Panel Air Filter
Activated Carbon is widely recognized as effective methods of removing and preventing odor/fume buildup in recirculated air. Utilizing the finest quality coatings, 3.2 ounce non-woven polyester is impregnated 150% with finely ground activated carbon coatings, and heat set to retain those coatings when the media is rinsed or vacuumed. Just as a sponge soaks up water, activated carbon adsorbs organic based odors. When the media becomes saturated, the filter is disposed of and replaced with a new panel.
Model CHARWR, a flat panel type air filter, these models contain approximately 14 grams of activated carbon per square foot of media area, contained in a 1/8"-1/4" galvanized steel frame. Filters over 600 square inches must have wire support. Standard and custom sizes are available in 4-pack units. This filter can be used as an afterfilter in electronic air cleaners, PTAC units or any other type of equipment.
