Fan Guard Screen for BAC Cooling Tower
A major manufacturing plant known for their aromatherapy personal care products, located just north of the twin cities, utilizes Baltimore Aircoil cooling towers interconnected with a couple hundred heat pumps for critical zone cooling of the facility. The cooling tower basin water gets dirty due to air intake fouling (especially by cottonwood seeds), they have to dump out the dirty water and refill multiple towers, along with extensive cleaning maintenance. 83" round bonnet style intake screens solved the problem.

School District Air Conditioning Units Get Blasted by Hail Storms
The National Weather Service said that super cell thunderstorms are dangerous storms that can last for hours with unexpected damage. "They are responsible for nearly all of the significant tornadoes produced in the U.S. and for most of the hailstones larger than golf ball size." Midwestern school districts are being bombarded by violent hail storms, causing one community to payout $32,000 to replace destroyed air conditioner fins.

Prevent Hail Damage to HVAC System
Hail season is upon us. Both homeowners and facility managers are thinking about damage to roofs, drains, windows, awnings, signs and other structural elements and the costs of repairing or replacing them. But many people are unaware of just how much hail damage to HVAC systems costs them over the course of years-or of how little it costs to prevent that damage. HailStop hail guard netting can easily protect your air conditioner air intake fins.

Activated Carbon Filters
Moisture, food smells, cigarette smoke and awkward human or pet odors from everyday activities can accumulate to uncomfortable levels throughout public facilities. Motor vehicles operating in closed garages, air intake grills along side loading docks, main traffic streets or bus stops can draw air into buildings laden with exhaust fumes (carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and volatile hydro-carbons) as well as garbage odors. Activated carbon, as well as several other compounds, is widely recognized as an effective method of removing and preventing odor/fume buildup in recirculated air.

Custom Air Filters
Custom air filter applications frequently arise where it is determined that one air filter model would catch too much airborne dirt and clog too fast, or the other model wouldn't catch enough of the airborne particulates. Sometimes the air filter that's been used for years and years is suddenly discontinued. Designing a custom industrial air filter for a specific facility challenge without committing to high volume quantities can be hard to find. Permatron combines precision engineering and product diversification to effectively meet most air filtration challenges.

Hail Guard Protection for Daikin HVAC System at School
An elementary school in Tennessee installed 52 Daikin mini-split units on their rooftop because of their ductless flexibility and state of the art technology for conditioning individual school rooms based on changing occupancy levels. The units are energy efficient, have precise temperature control and they run quietly so students can better focus on their lessons. Unfortunately the units are also the perfect target for hail storms to crush their delicate aluminum fins, blocking necessary air flow to the system.
