Permatron's commitment to residential
and commercial air filtration manufacturing and customer service is
second to none. Our manufacturing capabilities include a
variety of metal forming, fabricating and assembly processes.
These include contour roll forming in a variety of thicknesses and
configurations. We produce air filters framed in a variety of
materials which include plastic, vinyl, aluminum, galvanized,
painted and stainless steel. A variety of filter mounting
options are available for "pre-filtration" installation on air
intakes.
Additional machining operations, such as notching, slotting, punching, embossing, curving and coiling can be customized, by developing tooling and dies to meet customer specifications. Electrostatic media handling operations include fabric sheeting, die cutting, pleating, laminating and fabric layering. Finished product capabilities include assembly, bulk shipping, customer packaging or private labeling. JIT OEM inventory and delivery systems are an integral part of every job that we process.
A diverse range of synthetic permanent and washable electrostatic media is available, including wool, polyester, polypropylene, rayon nylon, and other synthetic fibers and foams. Synthetic media substrates can also be impregnated with finely ground coatings, such as Activated Carbon, Activated Aluminum, Antimicrobial, Conductive Carbon, Silica Gel, Potassium Carbonate or Potassium Permanganate for odor/fume/gas removing applications. Custom filtration and air inlet needs can be met by varying the densities, number of layers and types of media depending on air flow restrictions, arrestance efficiencies required and budget parameters. Permatron has also added ultrasonic welding to their production capabilities. A fast and cost effective assembly method for manufacturing several types of electrostatic air filtration products, improves product lead times and labor costs. This "sewing machine" like equipment creates a continuous fused permanent seal or seam which will adhere multiple layers of electrostatic filtration media together to create one complete filter. Ring panels, sock filters and custom inlet filtration can be designed using a variety of media.
