Vent Filters Keep Dust From Recirculating
Air circulating throughout the
ventilation ducts contain countless contaminants including allergy triggers that
you cannot see, but show up as "black soot" on the wall area surrounding the air
intake vents. Dust and debris constantly enter the HVAC system, and cause
build up throughout the ducts and on furnace components. In homes with
vent ducts
built into the floors, high amounts of dirt fall into the ventilation system,
especially in high foot traffic areas. A way to combat that would be to
install PreVent electrostatic filtration media in the intake vents and return vents.
You simply cut-to-fit the media with scissors, and install the filter
underneath any vent deflector. Each kit
contains enough media to cover up to 12 standard register vents.

Activated Carbon impregnated polyester filter media. Dual action media for
dirt/dust and odors. Carbon won't brush off. Apply under vent cover.

Model VF-BHB
-- Contains 3 (16" x 12") sheets of washable polypropylene filter media.
Media has an inherent natural static "charge" that won't wash out. Reuse
it over and over. Apply under vent cover. White or Black
Model VF-NWPE
-- Contain 3 (16 X 12") sheets of high loft disposable non-woven polyester
filter media. Apply under register vent cover. White
