The DustPlus® Air Filter is designed to remove airborne particulate matter plus adsorb odors/fumes.  Two air filters in one … and now with more Activated Carbon for industrial strength jobs!  Enclosed in a 2” steel frame, the permanent/washable front panel contains woven polypropylene media and wire reinforcement.  The filter uses a combination of air  flow and impingement.  The replaceable back panel with wire reinforcement contains a high quantity of Activated Carbon for heavy odor/fume control.  The filter comes with a choice of fill options:  high density carbon containing a large quantity of granular carbon contained within a flexible nylon mesh or an extended polyester (impregnated with carbon) media pleat designed to increase the surface area of activated carbon.  DustPlus can be also be used as a prefilter to extend the service life of any type of costly replacement filter or to stabilize a less durable disposable filter.  Between the two panels is an Accumulator Chamber® which accounts for the filter’s low resistance to airflow (0.06 in. w.g. without high density carbon), 0.28 in. w.g. with the high density carbon, 89% average arrestance efficiency and 108 grams dust holding capacity.  Permatron air filters feature easy cleanability and long lasting durability, warrantied by a company with over 40 years of expertise.
